Aimusicgen

What it is

Aimusicgen is a web app for making songs with AI. In Simple mode you describe the mood, story or sound you want, pick a genre and choose vocals or an instrumental. Custom mode lets you paste your own lyrics and describe the style separately. Extra tools include a lyrics generator that drafts editable lyrics from a topic, a lyrics to song tool, a genre and mood composer and an AI song cover generator that rewrites lyrics or switches the genre of an uploaded track. Songs can be downloaded and stay private unless you share them. Signed-in users get daily free credits, while paid plans from $14.90 a month add more generations, longer storage and commercial use rights.

Editor's notes

More context from AI BirdView

Making a song usually takes instruments, recording gear and a lot of patience, but Aimusicgen lowers the barrier to a sentence or two of description. It keeps the experience simple for beginners while still giving lyricists a way to bring their own words, which makes it a pleasant starting point for casual music making.

Simple mode that turns a short description of a mood or story into a full track
Custom mode where you paste lyrics and set genre, mood and instruments separately
A lyrics generator that drafts editable lyrics from any topic
An AI song cover tool that can rewrite the lyrics or change the genre of an uploaded song
Private creations by default, with downloads and optional sharing

It is best for hobbyists, content creators and anyone who wants a quick custom song for a video, gift or celebration. Paid tiers are needed if you plan to use tracks commercially, and they also keep songs stored longer. A practical tip: be specific in your prompt, naming the tempo, instruments and the feeling of the chorus, and download any free tracks you like soon, since free plan songs are only stored for a week.
