Seylo

What it is

Seylo is a project workspace for people who create a lot of work with AI. Instead of leaving good scripts, prompts and images buried in chat history, you save them into a project as typed assets. Seylo records how items relate, such as which script led to which prompt and image, and shows the same project as a document list, gallery, status board or lineage map. Edits keep a version history, files can be attached and search runs across projects. It works on the web, iPhone and as a Chrome extension. On Pro, tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Codex can read projects and write output back over MCP.

Key features

  • Typed assets with lineage tracking
  • Four project views including a lineage map
  • Version history and cross-project search
  • MCP connection for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor

What we liked

  • + Generous free plan for small projects
  • + Clear record of how work evolved
  • + Web, iPhone and Chrome extension

Worth noting

  • · AI tool connections require Pro
  • · Early-stage product built by one person

Editor's notes

More context from AI BirdView

Seylo grew out of a simple frustration: the best things you make with AI tend to vanish into old conversations. Its answer is a workspace that stores that output as real project assets and remembers how each piece led to the next, which is a thoughtful touch for anyone iterating on scripts, prompts and visuals.

  • Saves scripts, prompts, images and decisions as typed assets inside projects
  • Tracks lineage, so you can see which prompt produced which visual
  • Four views of the same project, including a status board and a lineage map
  • Version history means edits never overwrite earlier work for good
  • On Pro, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Codex can read projects and save results back over MCP

The founder is open on the site that Seylo is early and built by one person, and that features marked Soon do not exist yet, which is refreshing. It is best for solo creators and small teams producing content with several AI tools. Start on the free plan with one active project, and upgrade only when you want your AI assistant to read and write there directly.
