Elmren Voice
VerifiedLocal document-to-audio and word-highlighted read-along exports on Mac
What it is
Elmren Voice imports TXT, PDF, DOCX and EPUB on Apple Silicon Macs (M1+, macOS 13+) and exports standalone word-highlighted HTML players, M4B audiobooks and captioned MP4. Synthesis and cloning of your own or permitted voices run locally after initial voice-pack downloads; it includes 64 voices, with the current reading workflow in English. The no-card trial provides 120 synthesis minutes over 7 days from first launch; a lifetime license costs $39.99 for one Mac.
